Who: Leucippus and Clotho
What: Leucippus taking creeping one step further
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: A few blocks from the Fates' shop
Warnings: Creepiness, language, tbd
Just because she was the youngest, that seemed to make her the errand girl. Clotho sighed as she listened to Atropos reading things off as she made a list.
"And make sure you get the skim milk, anything else tastes like drinking cream," she finished, reading it again to make sure she hadn't left anything out. "And don't give me that look, Clotho, you know Lachesis has to run the shop, and at least one of us should always be with the Loom."
"You know, there are services that will run your errands for you," Clotho grumbled good-naturedly as she put on her sunglasses.
"Yes, but they charge way too much, and you have two perfectly good legs," Atropos shot back. "It's not like we're asking you to walk across the city, the market's only a few blocks away. It shouldn't take you too long, and we'll have dinner ready when you come back."
Clotho took the list with a long-suffering sigh. "Yeah, yeah, alright," she said. "What are we having for dinner, anyway?"
"I thought we'd have pork ribs," Lachesis answered. "With mashed potatoes and corn. It's been so long since we've had that, I thought it'd be a nice treat."
Clotho gave her a small smile. "Sounds awesome. I'll be back soon." She waved to her sisters and left the shop, making the familiar trip to the market.
She finished the shopping fairly quickly, and was starting to head home, lost in her own little world. She really wasn't paying attention to her surroundings, so she didn't even notice when someone started to follow her.

Leucippus latched on to people quickly when he found someone of interest. Daphne had disappeared, and there needed to be someone to fill that gap. He'd felt enamored with Clotho after meeting her the first time. He'd returned to her store on occasion just to see her.
That beautiful red hair, delicate skin, gorgeous eyes. She was beautiful, sweet and he just wanted to spend time with her. He'd been just outside the door hiding when she left, watched her go into the market and come back out. He followed at a distance, but wanted to get closer. So his steps sped up as she wandered off.
He smiled reaching out but not yet taking hold of her arm. He just wanted to watch for a moment.

Clotho kept walking, although she was starting to get an odd feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something wasn't right. She thought about stopping and turning around suddenly, just in case someone was actually following her, but if there wasn't, she'd just look silly.
Then a thought entered her head. 'What if it's him?' she thought, and couldn't repress a shudder. So she cast her eyes in both directions, looking as far as she could behind her, without actually turning her head.
At last, she couldn't take it. She stopped and turned around, eyes scanning the street in every direction. "Is anyone there?" she called in a strong, clear voice.

He slipped away as she turned around, hiding behind a giant oak tree hoping she didn't sense him so close. Maybe her nerves were up to high.
In Leucippus' mind he wasn't out to hurt. He just wished to be close to someone and would take any lengths to get that.
She called out, he didn't answer, but he waited for the pad of feet against concrete before he'd step out again this time to greet her with a smile and a touch of his hand. Slip her into his car and go for a drive.
A nice quiet drive.

She just couldn't shake the feeling that she was being followed. She quickened her steps, hoping she could get back to the shop and behind the safety of the security system before anything happened.
But then, she stumbled. Her toe caught on the lip of an uneven sidewalk piece, and she went down hard. She skinned her knees, scraped the heels of her hands, and her head hit the ground with a thud. Not enough to knock her out, but enough to make her seriously disoriented.
She touched the spot that had hit the ground, and her fingertips came away bloody. "Help...someone help me, please..." she called weakly.

She slipped, oh Olympus she slipped. Instantly, the blond ran towards her helping her up, wiping off what dirt and debris she had picked up on her clothes. His hands encased hers, pulling her gingerly towards the car. "I'll get you help." He'd ran around with nymphs before, he'd known how to take care of wounds, wounds much worse than this.
She looked weak. He needed to help or his heart may break. This would be the chance he needed to take care of her, to keep her close and sway her affections. He'd take her home and look after her. It was the perfect solution.
Perfect.

She didn't recognize him through her woozy fog, and was just grateful that there was someone around. "Thank you...thank you so much," she said in a quiet voice. Her head hurt every time her heart beat, and her hands and knees were scraped raw and stung.
She let him lead her to the car and got into the passenger seat, resting her head on the window. The cold glass felt good.
"The hospital's not too far," she told him. "They should be able to patch me up, don't you think?"

"Shuuush," he whispered softly reaching over to buckle her in and pet her strong red hair. It lay delicately against those pale features so beautifully, he felt as if he were staring into the sun. It was warm and inviting.
"We'll be there soon," he promised her the drive further out than the expected hospital. He couldn't let her go there, they would ask questions. Too many questions and then she'd run from him. He needed to get closer. To make her understand how he felt.
Parking at his apartment he rushed around to the other side opening the door to let her out gently. He got her to her feet and if she needed him to carry her he would. Leucippus guided her to the door. "Not much further now."

It was so tempting to just close her eyes for a moment, but weren't you supposed to try and stay conscious after a head injury? She was pretty sure you were. So she started mentally reciting the names of the children whose threads she'd spun, starting all the way back in ancient times.
"Good," she said softly. Hopefully they'd stitch her up and give her something for the pain. And then she needed to call her sisters, they were probably worried sick.
She leaned on his arm heavily, still a little unsteady on her feet, and went inside. It didn't look at all like a hospital, that much penetrated her brain. "What...what's going on?" she asked, turning to look at him. "Where are we?"

He kept her head from flopping over to the side, where she looked as if she wanted to sleep as he guided her into the apartment. He placed her on the couch, resting a pillow behind her head.
"Stay here, I'll be right back," he reassured her. "I can help you." He kept saying over and over again. He didn't want to alarm her, but he wanted her to stay.
Coming back with a first-aid kit and a glass of water he handed her the water rummaging through the kit to doctor up her scraps and bruises.

She let him lay her down, relishing the feeling of not having to walking around. Her head throbbed more intensely for a few moments, but then receded into a dull ache as her body adjusted.
She knew she needed help, but she was still wary. "Al...alright," she finally managed. And really, she wasn't going anywhere until her head stopped bleeding.
She accepted the glass of water with a grateful smile and a "Thank you", draining almost half in one swallow. She glanced around the room, and her suspicions were confirmed. It wasn't a hospital at all, she was in someone's living room. Her heart plummeted. She didn't even want to think that he might have her, but that possibility was becoming more and more real all the time.
But before anything could happen, she needed to be patched up. And if he was going to do that, fine. As soon as that was done, she'd try to get some information out of him.
