WHERE: Jade's apartment/Prometheus' studio/apartment
WHAT: It's a 'going away party'
WARNINGS: Language, drinking, and Jade trying and get herself a threesome.
Long Island ice teas were a gift from the gods, although who could be sure which ones. All that Jade knew for sure was that they were glorious.
She was just finishing making up a nice large bottle of it when there was a knock on the door and she called out (to what she hoped was Aidan), "come in! It's unlocked!"
When her friend appeared Jade smiled brightly at him and passed the bottle over. "Try," she commanded. "Tell me I got it all good."

He accepted the bottle and took a sip. The booze had a kick like a mule, but that was to be expected. With barely a grimace he took another, passing it back. "All hail the mixologist," he said with a grin.

"Oh," Jade said as she drew away to put a lid on the bottle. "Maybe the wanting to rent you, or the offer to spank you, or the fact that he invited me around as an excuse to get you to come around." Jade looked at him knowingly. "We women have intuition for these sort of things."

Aidan made an undignified squeaking noise. "I think the only thing I really object to is being rented," he said pretending to be lofty. "I'm not that kind of boy." He considered this for a moment. "OK, maybe for new art supplies. I am a broke-ass bitch. I kid."
"Really?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

It was difficult to stop the little smile that broke out over his face, so he didn't even try to. "Awesome," he said, smiling a bit wider.
He took the bottle and took one last, long sip. "I'm good," he said, handing it back to her. "Lay on, MacDuff."

"Sometimes you're too adorable for your own good," Jade told him and then ruffled his hair. She grabbed for her bag and shoved the bottle in there alone with the hardly opened vodka that was already in there.
The walk between Jade's apartment and the studio was only about twenty minutes and it was easy enough to drink a little bit more before they got there. When they arrived Jade banged on the door and walked in. "Hey sexy!" she called out. "The entertainment has arrived!"

Prometheus couldn't drink, but he didn't always need to. He knew Jade was going away and to quell his jealousy had invited her to his place. That Aidan was coming was an added bonus.
When the banging began he smiled and looked down the stairs, "up here." He motioned the both of them up to the small apartment he had there, kissing Jade once she got there and offering Aidan his hand. He wouldn't impose too much just yet. "Glad you two made it, and you already started." He smiled to Jade before looking to Aidan, "welcome to my home. I'm that artist, the one who literally lives in his studio."

He snorted, ducking out of reach. "So I've been told," he said with a grin, following her out of the apartment.
Aidan shook the outstretched hand. "We did, but I think that was a given. Besides, it was for quality control purposes." He looked around Theon's home before smiling and saying, "That'll probably be me when I'm 40, living in my studio with five cats."

"If you end up having five cats," Jade threatened her friend, "then I will stop visiting you." She had no doubt at all they'd still be friends in another ten years, unless one of them took off somewhere far away. (It wouldn't be Jade though. After a childhood of always being on the move, she liked being stable.)
Jade had already thrown herself down into a chair with the familiarity of one who knew both the apartment and owner well enough to not bother asking or waiting. "Yeah, and I'm Quality and Control," she grinned at Prometheus as she pulled out the vodka bottle.

He chuckled, "not a cat fan, so no cats for me. I get too distracted." He smirked to Jade before sitting down, "please, Aidan, make yourself at home. Jade already does."
"Someone should be, I'm the responsible designated one I fear. Just allows me to remember all the embarrassing details later." He relaxed in his seat, "I do have some drinks around that I keep for guests. Feel free."

At the comment about Jade making herself at home she smirked at Prometheus. "Whatever," she told him with a dismissive hand gesture. "You totally love me taking over your place." (And if he didn't... well, that was too bad because Jade didn't take subtle hints when she didn't want to.)
She took a drink of the vodka from the bottle happily and then rested it on her thigh. "For now I'm good with what we brought, but the evening might require more later, who can tell."
