Will was finding being back at work good for his mind. It helped him to have a reason to get out of the house in the morning, and seeing the blossoms coming out was also very soothing to the soul. He was sleeping better now that he was eating properly too.
Elijah was doing well, although of course he had a lot more to work through mentally and physically than Will did. It was encouraging to get back into a fitness routine, and having someone to be, dare he say, competitive with, pushed them both to try a little harder. Running in the spring daylight was much preferable to having to do pull-ups on a pipe in a dingy common area.
Will wandered into the church, hands in pockets, to see where Elijah had got too, since he was at a loose end himself. Tuck was otherwise occupied, Evie at her mother's place, nobody else was around and he didn't feel like running any drills right now, so poking around the church it was. "Ayup," he said in greeting, glancing around at people and then back at Elijah just as he was suddenly grabbed.
"Who?" He looked around quickly, because if there were gorgeous women to be seen, he was going to be looking, but he relaxed when he saw who it was. "Oh, it's Mickey. Hi!" He waved his un-grabbed arm at her, and shrugged Elijah off. "Tuck's girl," he said in aside to him, then raised his voice to Michaela. "You looking for Tuck?"
