Whatever that blue was, it felt like it went straight to her bloodstream, but then again, maybe it was his grin, or his toast, or that he was gonna dance with her. Okay, Viv leaving didn't feel so bad, though a little bit of Lyra was still wishing she'd found her earlier, that faded after they hit the dance floor and she saw what he could do. Avery was like... actually a decent dancer?
She'd tossed her coat up against the wall with a few others (becoming engulfed in another hug by the couple who were on the floor near the coats having themselves a break) so her own limbs were free of the masses of lime green fluff, and when she looked back she'd expected Avery to be standing there waiting for her and trying to keep his distance from everyone else but no, he was already starting to get into the music. She launched herself back toward him and slung an arm loosely around the back of his neck with a long "yesssss" of approval as she tuned her own self into the beat.
"You been holding out on me," she accused, watching his body as they danced. "Where'd these moves come from?"
