Armaan let out a sob laugh, and he leaned in to kiss Freddie. Not a deep, passionate kiss, because he was still far too upset for anything like that, but sweet and grateful. "You are so good to me," Armaan whispered, his smile a little truer now.
Freddie loved him. Freddie, who gave up his time and energy to help vulnerable people, and who never had an unkind word to say about anyone, loved him. God he was lucky. "I really needed to hear that today," Armaan admitted. Then he sniffed, leaned in to kiss Freddie's cheek, and pulled back. "Sorry. Dinner. I keep distracting you from your dinner." He was beyond grateful though. There were still things he wanted to say, but he could do them over food.
