"I would love to do that!" Armaan said, getting excited about the idea of it. Brightening the days of a bunch of kids without anywhere else to go? He was absolutely down for helping out with that.
"He's a great cook too," Rhadika said, so proud. Any excuse to talk Armaan up. "He had to cook most of the dinners back when I had to work three jobs. And they were always delicious."
Armaan leaned over a little, to place his hand over hers. He gave her hand a little squeeze and went right back to his meal. It was a quiet moment between them, but it meant a lot to her.
