Armaan wasn't sure how Freddie did it, but somehow, when Armaan breathed in slowly and out slowly, he calmed down. There was a sort of peace about him when he straightened up and looked Freddie in the eye. "Thank you," he said, leaning in to plant a kiss on Freddie's cheek. "You're amazing. Here we go."
He moved to the door and let them both in. They were welcomed by the smell of cooking curry, and Armaan grinned. Rhadika was never one to be outdone when it came to cooking! His stomach growled as he inhaled the spicy scent. God was he glad his diet of student food was nearly over.
"Maji!" Armaan called out, when he didn't find Rhadika in the kitchen. "Here's the kitchen, Freddie." The dining room was just off it, and the hallway to the bedrooms was down the side, with the lounge in front of them. "Majiiii!"
Rhadika came back in from her bedroom, smelling of jasmine, wearing a teal and gold kameez because of course she had dressed up for this. Her long, black hair was up and styled, held in place with fancy gold hair clips. "Armaan, you sound like a foghorn," she chided him, but when she caught sight of Freddie she grinned and moved to take the man's face into her hands. "You must be Freddie! Oh, look at you! I'm Rhadika and I'm so glad Armaan finally brought you home to meet me."
"Really, woman?" Armaan said, but he was grinning. "Well I guess I don't have to do the introducing then."
