"I know," Addy said, nodding but not looking up. Of course she wasn't going to be trusted right away. She had broken their trust big time and she wasn't going to be upset at them for that. Didn't mean she liked the situation. "I'm more sorry Henry's gotten all caught up in it."
"It's a little weird," Henry admitted, because he didn't want to lie. "I mean, I was fairly sure everyone knew I was on meds but like...handing them over was a little- I was just hoping he wouldn't look at them and think I was crazy." Henry was on a few things for anxiety and depression, and he had sleeping pills when he needed them, and the quick acting panic attack pills when he needed those too. He rarely used the second two any more, but he still handing David so many bottles of pills felt...awkward. "I had this two day thing where I was sure he had decided I wasn't good enough for Iestyn, but of course there's no basis in fact for that, and those thoughts are why I'm on the damn things in the first place."
Addy had finally lifted his gaze while Henry rambled, and the corner of her mouth quirked up a little, "well at least we're as crazy as each other, hmmm?"
