"Thank you," Addy said, still looking like she was reticent to move from Henry's chest.
"It's just really good to see you doing okay in here," Henry said, rubbing her back too, so his and Iestyn's hands were running into each other, just a little. He liked it though, like they were unified in their approach here.
Addy finally lifted her head and she smiled at him, even though her eyes were a little shiny. "Turns out I am a terrible patient when it comes to physical stuff, but diagnose me with a mental illness and I'm all gung ho about treatment."
"Well thank fuck for that," Henry said, the corner of his mouth lifting into a smile. "We miss you at home."
"If all goes well I might be able to come home in a week!" Addy said, and this time she reached out for Iestyn.
