Addy accepted that. Of course they weren't okay, she had tried to kill herself. She was talking about guilt a lot in therapy, and it was helping so much. She supposed what she had meant wasn't if Henry was okay, but if their relationship was. "Right, no- Later. I just- Henry? Do you hate me?"
Her voice shook a little and she sounded so vulnerable and scared, that Henry was up and out of his chair in an instant. He sat on the bed beside her and pulled her into yet another hug. She melted against him, hiding her face in his chest. "Addy," he said, nuzzling into her hair. "I could never hate you. I don't honestly know how anyone could, you're just the most wonderful person. You're my best fucking friend, who I am not married to or related to. I don't hate you, I love you. So much. All that other stuff- Look, we're going to have to talk about it at some point, but it's not going to change the fact that you are one of my favourite people in the world. Okay?"
Addy let out a shaky breath, though she didn't move from his arms. "Okay," she accepted.
