Addy sniffled a little, and she leaned in to plant a kiss on Henry's forehead, much like she had for Iestyn when he had first some to see her. Then she let him go and stood back a little. "It's honestly so good to see you."
With a deep, steadying breath, Henry nodded. "God, same." They all moved to sit down then, Addy on the bed first, leaving room for Iestyn, and Henry in one of the chairs. "Am I the splotchiest?" Henry asked.
Addy snorted and she gave him a little wink, "not the splotchiest I have ever seen, but maybe a close second. Henry," Addy chewed her lip a little and her sunny disposition dimmed, just a little. But it was clear it was in concern for her brother in law. "Henry, are you really okay?"
God, what a question. He ran his hands over his face, dragging his fingers slowly, as if that would give him a second to think of an answer. Finally, he cast a sort of desperate look towards Iestyn. "I wasn't going to talk about this. Not yet. Not- You're still trying to heal, Addy."
