Will Scarlet ([info]rouge_rogue) wrote in [info]nevermore_logs,
There was a thud on the floorboards as Will jumped to catch the edge of the floor above and swing his legs forward as he moved towards the kitchen. He was feeling pretty good out here, in the fresh air and with spring growth all around them, and it was making him more athletic than usual. He felt like he could climb a hundred trees and barely break a sweat.

Bringing Evie out into the environment he felt most at home in was great. Will wished she was big enough that he could teach her everything he knew. Hanging out with Johnny's kids was quite cool, as well as getting to teach them things, and he wanted to do that for Evie too. He enjoyed teaching. It reminded him of his time in the Scouts, and before that (long, long before that,) teaching the Merry Men they recruited who had only ever done farm work or trades how to string and pull a bow.

"Morning," he said cheerfully, heading over to kiss Tuck on the side of the head, and then look into the pan to nosy at the bacon and reach out to snare a crispy strip before Tuck served it up. "How are we all?"
