Marian looked at the angel in surprise, realising she hadn't even considered that. "Thank you," she said to him softly, truly appreciative. Marian was never sure exactly how she felt about the existence of the Archangel Michael in their lives. Mostly she knew that she felt a little uncomfortable about it. She had been raised in the church and was still, at heart, a woman who put her faith in God despite the wild circumstances of their lives. And yet here, driving them to pick up Robin, was a literal Angel. And not just any Angel, but the leader of the heavenly hosts.
Marian honestly tried not to think of it. She tried not to even put into her mind what Michael actually was, because it was too big and it didn't feel meant for her.
But she knew that he was a good and kind man, even if she had to push all the rest of it away.
