Robin had been lying on the ground long enough, that he now felt if he had to stand (despite being able to) that would be the worst thing in the world.

Robin didn't try to yell out to Marian either, his jaw hurt too much. Instead he wet his lips and whistled to her, letting her know his location. He was tucked near a downed tree, invisible from the road, and safe from any wary passerby.
