It was true that it'd been a blood-chilling, flesh crawling shock to find out that Lucifer had killed her, followed by the feeling that he, Much, was so, so stupid, because how else would Mary, all by herself, have gotten away from Lucifer? It wasn't like God was sending bagels to save all of them, was He? Of course Lucifer had killed Mary, his Mary, and of course it had been horrible, and of course Much should have worked that out as soon as Mary mentioned she'd faced off with him.
