Iestyn stared at Addy with round eyes, trying to make sense of all of this. But Lucifer had said- no, Beelzebub had said- They weren’t supposed to be coming after them anymore! They said!
“But- but-” he stammered a moment, and then shook his head. “Demons couldn’t have knocked on the door. They can’t come on the property,” he said, latching onto that bit of information. “You have to move, I can’t just let him get taken! Aderyn, move!” He was shouting back, over top of Evie’s crying, panicking at Henry being gone again. Evie was the only reason he didn’t try to forcibly shift his twin out of the way of the door.
