As Cathal spoke, Rosario found the corners of her lips curling upward, the dimples reappearing. It didn't sound weird to her. Okay, so she wasn't in the habit of giving insects a whole lot of brain space, beyond checking judiciously for bedbugs and spraying the hell out of cockroaches (and the occasional article about dung beetles and moonlight), but she kinda liked the way he leapt to their defence. And hey, it was a legit point, too: invertebrates predated humans (and even certain pain-in-the-ass gods) by hundreds of millions of years and no question they were gonna outlast them. She inclined her head thoughtfully. "You said you only got here yesterday, right? You should check out the Museum of Natural History, their insect collection is massive. They got a live butterfly exhibit right now, too."
