Those sounds of the city gave Cathal a lot to focus on mentally, so he didn't hear that someone had approached. It was only when they spoke that Cathal realise he wasn't alone. Still sitting, he cracked one eye open and then, once he saw the woman properly, opened them both and gave her a small but friendly smile.
"Hi," he greeted and then, realising that she seemed to have made a direct line this way from the door, pushed himself up from his seat. "Oh, I'm sorry, are these your chairs? I'll get out of your hair. I've just moved into the building," he explained, hoping that avoided any awkward territorial disputes.
