"Cause apricots are straight fire," Arya said, because this was obvious common knowledge. Apricots were objectively the best fruit. She grinned. "I don't have them so blended now though."
Most of the time Arya forgot that she and Armaan had different fathers, that the dad she'd grown up with and loved wasn't the same dad that made (ew) Armaan. Sometimes Arya imagined how she might be different if her dad had been a god too. Would she have gained something there? Armaan always said he'd never gotten anything from his father, but maybe it was just harder to see.
Sometimes Arya had dreams where she found out her dad was a god. He hadn't really died, but instead he'd just had to go away for some reason. But in the dreams he always came back and explained to Arya how much he'd wanted to stay with her and how he wouldn't go away again.
