"Do it," Tuck said, his voice firm. Will knew, though, that he was playing along. They had been doing this for centuries.
"No, wait!" Hybris cried out. Now it was her turn to be terrified. "Okay, I'll stop! You fucking shitheads, I'll stop!"
"I don't believe you," Tuck hissed, twisting the arrow again.
"Aauuuuhhhrrrrrrgghhhh, fuck you!" she spat at both of them. "I'll stop the game!"
"And if we hear of any holy people, priests, reverends, saints, any of them being harmed in your trademark fucked up way, do you know what's going to happen to you?" Tuck asked her, teeth bared. "The pain you're experiencing right now? It will seem like nothing." Tuck didn't have it in him to follow through on that, but he had to make her believe he did.
