Tuck, standing in the kitchen as he watched the screens, chanced a glance out the window so he could try to locate Will. If Tuck knew where he was, he could make sure the angle he lured Hybris to was perfect.
Church roof. Will was motionless, and far enough away Hybris wouldn't be able to sense him, but Tuck knew he was there. He calculated angles in his head as he glanced back at the screen just in time to see Hybris approaching from the street. She slammed into the door with practiced ease, splintering it from it's hinges.
The second she was through the door, Tuck was acting. He dropped the glass of water he had been holding into the sink as if in shock. "What the fuck?!" he cried out.
Hybris raised the gun at him training it at his head. "Thought you got away from me didn't you?" she asked, grinning widely at him. To be fair though, she had too until she had been out drinking last night and she had caught a glimpse of him leaving the bar. She had followed him then, all the way home.
Tuck didn't reply, he just trained his eyes on the gun, let out a terrified squeak, and made a mad dash to the back door. It was a gamble this. He was counting on her wanting him alive.
"Asshole!" Hybris hissed, giving chase. She crashed after him, knocking pictures off the wall as they raced through the house.
Once in the backyard, Tuck executed a perfect fall, making it look accidental and painful. He rolled around to face her, crawling backwards, his eyes wide with fear. Just a little bit farther- "OH god please! Please don't hurt me!" he begged her. "What do you want, I'll give you anything!"
Hybris growled, but she trained the gun on him again, holding it out in front of her. "Don't worry, shithead, you're going to give me everything I want-"
"Oh god, no!" Tuck wailed, still crawling. There. Perfect. Will could shoot an arrow, knocking the gun from her hand. Tuck's sword was hidden close by and the second that gun was out of her hand, he was going to be on her, sword at her throat.
