Henry was so proud of Iestyn for sharing his story, but he didn't want to take this moment away from them. He made a mental note to tell Iestyn later, but he did hook his ankle around Iestyn's under the table.
"Thank you," Armaan said with a great amount of emotion. "After my birth father left, my mother went a little conservative. She's loosened up over the years, but- She calls me her 'knight in shining armor' for helping raise my sisters. She constantly tells me what a good husband I would make for some 'lucky woman out there'. I don't know how she would react, and I don't think she would disown me or anything, but- It's a bit heavy. I've been her support person for so long, I don't want to disappoint her."
Henry leaned over and gave Armaan's shoulder a squeeze. "We're here any time you want to talk about it."
"You are both so wonderful," Armaan smile a little. "Your dad is religious, Iestyn? I saw Henry say you're a drag queen, which is amazing by the way. And he's okay with that?"
