When the Sheriff walked out, Will relaxed somewhat, but he was thankful for Tuck offering him an escape. He nodded, getting up with only a slight sway on his feet, and followed Tuck back inside and up the stairs.
"That was really good, thank you," he said, crossing to the window and opening it. He just wanted the scent of the evening air still. It was helping to clear his soul. Then he came back and sat on the edge of the bed, looking at the pillow and pondering kicking his trousers off and snuggling in. "Is this how you felt, your first day out?"
