Tuck's head started disappearing into his collar as John playfully punched him, and Will looked at him like he was scum. "She needed the money," was his excuse.
Robin was too shocked to say anything, his mouth hanging open in horror.
"Evie's doing so well, she deserved it," Tuck kept trying to explain. "You should see her, Will. She's so happy. She's got a boy she's seeing. Not serious yet, but it sounds promising." He was rambling to deflect. Robin wasn't sure telling Will what he was missing was going to fucking help.
