John laughed. He wasn't really hungry anymore, and he didn't want to eat it all, he was just making a point. He turned to Tuck and held it out to him. "Since they're so hangry, and acting out like children, you can feed them like children. But I don't want them getting hold of that fork. It'd be a weapon in the hands of that menace. You hold onto it." He patted Tuck's shoulder and gestured to Robin. "Come eat if you're so bothered about it. The Friar does like to feed the less fortunate. Such a heart of gold." He intended that Tuck should spoon-feed Robin and Will. If they were hungry enough, they'd do it.
From across the room, Will snorted derisively. He wanted to talk, but he wanted to talk to Tuck alone, and there was no opportunity for that here. In the meantime, he would be bitter and angry about it. But he was kinda hungry... Once he realised that John meant to demean them like this, he gritted his teeth, his pride flaring.
