She smiled. "I don't mind, I promise," she replied. She looked at him fondly when he kissed her cheek, wrapping her fingers around the coins he'd given her. "I will."

Hestia would be lying if she said she wasn't a little nervous. She'd never been to the Underworld before, but she was determined to visit and give it a chance. She'd chosen a dress the color of fire, and some of the agate that Hades had given her had been set into a necklace, as well as two smaller pieces adorning the pins in her hair.
Charon met her at the entrance, which helped, because she wasn't sure which way to go. "You must be Hestia," he said, leading her to a small dock where his boat was tied. "He's expecting you." Hestia just nodded, and handed Charon the coins she'd been given.
He paddled down the river, and Hestia used that time to try and take in as much as she could. She wanted to try and produce her fire, but wasn't sure if Hades would like that, or it would even work Below. Something to ask him.
Charon left her at the door to the audience chamber, and she knocked, smoothing her skirts as she waited.
