"You didn't," he made it pretty clear who did however. "He's testing his crown," he gave with a shrug, "see what he can get us to do. Tactically it's pretty bright to show us early on who, exactly, is in charge. Besides between you and me? Not much to do." He tried for another smile as he dug into a pouch, "there's these though." He brought out some gems and extended his hand to her. "It's not much, and you're not obliged to take them, but I could not come empty handed."
