Adrian grumbled and he went to take a seat on the sofa, his arms crossed tightly across his chest. He didn't like telling this man they were always hungry, even if it was true. He felt ashamed, and his cheeks coloured a little as he stared vehemently in the opposite direction of Nicholas.
"Okay," Nicholas breathed, waving his hands around. "I'm going to order a bunch of food and have it delivered. I'll collect it from downstairs, no worries there. You all deserve a really nice meal, okay?" He was going to do a hell of a lot more than that, but he needed to start somewhere and they all looked half-starved. If not more.
At the mention of food delivered, Jayden perked right up. "Really? How much can we have?"
The question made Nicholas' heart ache a little. "As much as you want, don't worry about that."
