She was surprised to the flowers. "Aren't you sweet." She didn't mention she wasn't a flower person, because it was a nice gesture. She ignored all the fluttery feelings and took the flowers. "Now to find something to put them in."
She closed the door before doing that, "sorry it's tiny but I refuse to do dorms. And I got a part time job nearby so the rent isn't too bad. Place like this costs an arm and a leg in New York." She eventually found a glass and set them in there.
"So as you were super nice enough to offer me company I will buy you dinner. Unless you ate, then I can find desert. I can offer tours as well." she motioned to the couch, "And if you don't feel like making the drive it's lumpy but surprisingly good for sleeping." Realizing she was babbling a bit she set her hands in her pockets. "So how you been?"
