Jamie laughed. "Well you're the teacher here," he agreed. "So I'll give it a shot." And the irony that a child born into a mob family that had never seen The Godfather, that was not lost on him.
He raised his glass out of respect, sipping at his drink. He knew he'd had enough to get a decent buzz going by now, he could feel it.
"He sounds great," he said, a little wistfully. "All parents should be like that."
He snickered then. "I could make a lot of jokes, but I'm trying to pretend I'm a normal person, so I will refrain."
