While she was in New York, she kept to a pattern. Occasionally she'd visit the Museums, or took a walk in the park, but it didn't change much. She mostly ignored her grandfather's attempts at drawing her in, and send back the gifts he gave her. It seemed healthier that way.
She was still nervous half the time, but keeping to the routine helped. Despite all that she tried to keep in touch with the agent. Befriending someone who was actively seeking to put her family behind bars may not be the smartest of ideas, but he seemed to get it and didn't seem to judge. Or if he did, he kept it to himself.
She mostly kept to texts, offering simple greetings and the occasional question of how saving the world was going. Every so often she would offer a piece of advice. Nothing that would tie back to her family, but hints of things he should check out that she heard about. It wouldn't please her grandfather, but she couldn't stay at the sidelines forever. Too many people might get hurt.
She'd done so today before heading to the park. It was nice ot so she'd put on something she felt appropriate and cute and was lounging against a tree playing something on the handheld gamesystem.
