Who: Richard the Lionheart and Alexander the Great What: You can't have a perimeter without people to defend it When: Late November Where: Their apartment building haven...thing Warnings: Violence, language, apocalypses, TBD
Once they'd agreed on a plan, things fell into place fairly easily. The promise of protection and a solid roof over their heads drew people like magnets. But, to maintain that security, they needed to train up able-bodied mean and women, to defend the perimeter, keep watch, and provide cover if things went wrong on scavenging missions.
Between the two of them, training people wasn't too hard, it was mostly the fact that none of them had any prior military training, and swords had fallen out of fashion as primary weapons long ago. Alexander had taken to teaching hand-to-hand to those who wanted to learn. He was a hard teacher, but he knew it would pay off in the end. If it didn't, this whole endeavor was doomed before it ever started.
