George released his grip once he was sure that Patrick was really unconscious. He slumped down, still tied to the chair, and wondered if he could just take a long, long nap here.
He should probably get off of Patrick first.
He untied the ropes around his ankles quickly, and knelt next to Patrick. He reached down and cradled his brother's head between his hand. One quick snap was all it would take. He'd done it before.
It was harder though, with Patrick unconscious and unmoving. Like that, he looked like George's brother. George pressed his heels to his eyes to fight back the tears that were threatening.
When Patrick woke, it would be to find himself tied up, with George sitting a few feet away against the wall.
