"I agree," George said, rubbing his temples with a sigh. He rested the half-eaten apple in his lap and reached for another cracker and more cheese. He'd eaten more than his share of the food, but that wasn't unusual. He'd also been storing food in his room, as of late. Nothing beyond an apple or a packet of crisps, but still. Food had seemed that much more precious lately.
