FYI: seems like a fairly serious snow situation is headed to NVC Tuesday night 1/26. 8-12 inches of snow. Wednesday turning to snow/rain with an additional 2 inches.
Update: we’re looking at 3-7 feet depending on elevation. NVC is looking in the 3-5ft kind of zone.

Oh hey friends! It's Kelly I'm still alive (though for how long who knows these days). If you didn't know I work in a special education school. It's great but as you can imagine it's really hard to get kids with serious behavioral, neurological and physical problems to wear masks ect. So it's been stressful. Sorry I haven't been around. I'm going to try harder! I miss you all and this haven of fun creativity we have. If you want to talk story or what lines have been up to for the last few months hit me up. Sooooooooooooooooooo my power has been out late morning Wednesday and possibly isn't going to be restored until late tonight into tomorrow morning (we're expected more severe weather today so that could change again). As result I've been at my parent's place nearby since they have power and internet but since a lot of our reps for work were out of power I've mostly only be working. Sadly this has caused me to be even more quiet than normal. On top of...yknow just everything. Working on getting tagbacks and throwing my people into some things over the next few days, or attempting to do so. Just wanted to update and say hi! ceilanese#5637 on discord if anyone's up to chatting - RP related or any other topic too! :)

Anybody interested in doing another big group interactive post? I know we had the OOC thing going around awhile ago, but maybe we could do an IC thing? We did truth or dare, we did FMK, we could find one of those old weird surveys like from back in the LJ/Myspace days and have characters ask questions IC? Or another Netflix party?
Other suggestions welcome, I'm happy to make a post for whatever we want! Would you rather something IC or OOC?

hello i've been doing a lot of Thinking about the hill crest and what's going on there during the pandemic. so here are some updates that will apply to people around town:
1) the hill crest is closed to vacationers, but is currently housing: a few sick people in the cabins who need places to self-isolate and healthcare workers in the main building who can't stay at home and risk infecting their families. if there are other people in town who need a place to stay away from the people they live with, they can reach out to owen to make arrangements!
2) thank you ceil for reminding me about the small business bailout!! so the hill crest will continue to be able to pay its employees who aren't coming into work.
3) the kitchen at the hill crest is open, following safety regulations, and is preparing food for pickup and delivery around town.
4) besides a stripped down kitchen staff, the only other people coming into work every day are owen and some NPC managers throughout the day/night to take care of things like dropping off food deliveries for rooms and making sure the building doesn't burn down or whatever. CHARLOTTE IS NOT ALLOWED TO COME TO WORK!!!! :)

Just a heads up to everyone, I’ll be spotty this weekend. I’m at the Women’s March in Washington DC. Let’s hope I don’t end up in jail because frankly my job at a non-profit school doesn’t allow me the luxury of bail. 😂
EDIT: if you start a thread with Mark or Lena I will pay you 500 extra special shiny internet dollars. It would mean ALL of my current characters would be involved with a thread. It’s like some kind of insane goal now that I know it’s within reach.

so i've been pretty mia lately and i'm so sorry for that. i decided to become a full time student in addition to a full time employee, soooo.... my time was sucked dry. but classes are over and work is boring right now, so, i'm mostly back! and if anyone wants anything with any of my three (jasko here, harkness, and hartache), let me know and we'll do things :).

A life update, if you will:
My job is cumbersome.
On the brighter side as far as my wallet goes, it's been much less stressful because of my cumbersome job promotion tasks?
My job also blessed me with split weekends...so typically speaking I'm not off on Wednesdays and Saturdays and because they're split apart I feel like I never catch up on anything hooray.

Hi guys!! I just wanted to let you know I’m starting a new job this week and while I shouldn’t be swamped, I probably won’t be able to reply as quickly as I did before since I should also be working on more personal projects and trying to salvage my social life. I just wanted to let you guys know and still say I’m always open to new lines/scenes for everyone (Ethan, Kate, Nick, Gabe, Regan, and now Jane!) and am super open to talking out future stuff over discord/google hangout or by making a google doc!! I’m having a really fun time here and can’t wait to write more with you all 😊😊😊

So....I pretty much have no real days off at the moment. I was just under 120 hours for my last 2 week payperiod and it's looking like that will probably be how my schedule is going through July. Which....for my bank account, that's awesome but for my mental capacity and general morale....not so much.
I was originally supposed to have today off and my plan was Laundry >> World Cup Game >> RP Catch up....and then I got called into work. So here we are.
I am so sorry to everyone I've left hanging on threads, it is very much not at all because I wanted to in any way, honest!!! I don't have to be in work until 4pm tomorrow so I want to try and do my best to get through some things in my inbox. If you're hanging out tonight online, come talk to me, I miss you guys so damn much!!! I feel like I haven't gotten to do anything fun with my favorite internet humans in yearrrrs ❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️❤️️
