IC/OOC: Death Eaters Meeting.
[DE meeting took place at the Carrow's Manor.]
At the Death Eaters meeting Voldemort got straight down to business. He felt as though no one was doing what he was asking. So to show his dissapointment he used the cruciatus curse on Goyle to get everyone's undivided attention. Once he had it, he began to tell his followers what he wanted. What needed to be accomplished.
Since his loyal follower, Severus Snape, had informed him of the prophecy; Voldemort had been unable to locate the Potters or the Longbottoms. His conclusion was that Dumbledore had put the families into hiding, he was protecting them. A pointless effort. The key to getting his hands on either family, would be to get close to those that were close with the families.
Voldemort instructed the group to go out and recruit more Death Eaters. Preferably, to approach those that were known to be close to the Potters and Longbottoms. Voldemort placed Regulus Black in charge of bringing his brother Sirius over. Bellatrix was asked to speak with Remus Lupin; Alecto to speak to Dorcas Meadowes; Amycus would speak with both Marlene McKinnon as well as Peter Pettigrew; and Severus would entice Emmeline Vance to join their cause.
They needed to approach these people for more than just recruitment. But for information. Voldemort needed information. He needed to know anything about the Potters / Longbottoms where abouts. Also, he wanted to infiltrate the Ministry. If they could gain control of the Ministry, then they would be one step closer to purifying the wizarding race.
