Who: Violet and Sam When: January 15, 2010, morning Where: Pyreal & Pero Rating: PG
Warnings: Annoyance and flirting Summary: Violet has the attention span of a gnat.
Violet was the picture of comfort with her head resting on the armrest of one of the chairs located around Pyreal & Pero Bookstore, and her legs dangling over the other armrest. In her hands was Fake, Volume 3, a manga series about two homosexual police officers in New York City. She loved this series and had loudly squealed when she discovered one of the books nestled in between a biography of Napoleon and a children's book about a dog named Spot. For nearly half an hour she scoured the bookstore until she had all seven books in a neat stack by the comfiest chair. Then for the next two and a half hours, she remained in the chair, not moving except for an occasional swinging leg to bring the circulation back to her feet.
Unfortunately for Sam, Violet was supposed to be working, too. Her name tag rested completely forgotten against the smaller stack of books and she never so much as looked up from the adorable Ryo and Dee to see if Sam needed her help with anything. She had started off the morning with the intention of giving the store her full attention, but as usual, she got bored within twenty minutes. She found it hard to work seriously at Pyreal & Pero when the bookstore was owned by her grandmother and her great-aunt. She had spent most of her summers right where she was now, and old habits were hard to break. Also, she assumed Sam would call her if he needed anything.
