Key wasn't sure if he should but he laughed, throwing his head back as she mimed a crash. It was partly because he had not been expecting it and because he had never heard someone use the word 'blammo' in conversation before. His laughter slowed after a moment though, when he began to think about it. A barely noticeable shudder ran down his spine as he thought about a car actually flipping over. He had never been in a real car crash himself and the thought of something that horrible was a bit too much to think about.
Clearing his throat a bit, he smiled. "It's not the most popular place so that's alright. Feel free to come in any time though, I'll give you a free and wholly interesting tour."
He turned his head in the direction she pointed, coming to stand a little behind her when she wheeled herself over to the mass of metal. The numbers were somewhat easy to make out but it took him a moment to see what he was pretty sure was the sweep of a bird's wing.
Because he was standing behind her he failed to see her tears. He wanted to ask what the numbers meant but when he was able to see her face, she looked somewhat...shaken? He decided against it.
"What made you start with metal? You know, instead of like, water colors or something?" Involuntarily, his nose wrinkled.
Shoving his hands in his front pockets, he shrugged, smiling. "Yeah. Luckily its more of a 'natural talent' so I didn't have to deal with lessons. God knows I don't have the attention span for that."
