"Even without a book?" Koemi lifted her eyebrows at Alida playfully, "now that sounds like a great storyteller!" She found it extremely cute that they counted Ira as their own personal friend, rather than just their father's friend.
Hearing the children's' praises, Emi couldn't help but to offer Ira a warm smile as she extended her hand politely to meet his. "I feel like I already know you," she said with a light laugh. "Theo has mentioned you quite often; he's just full of stories. It's great to finally meet the face that belongs to Mr. Ira and the white kitty."
Ira had certainly provided Emi with a good first impression. She appreciated his politeness to her but, more importantly, his adoration of the children. It was always a pleasure for her to meet the positive influences in their lives.
Turning to Theo and Alida she winked happily. "Sounds like he's a really great friend to have, guys!" Then she raised her head to Staas once again, "should I help you gather their things?"
