As Rhys stated earlier, he couldn't leave a woman in need (even if she was just Koemi), so just five minutes after he closed his laptop, he was at her door with a sack of food in one arm and a stack of board games under his other arm. In his hand was a flashlight to guide him across the hallway. "Hey, Emi," he greeted, kicking the door shut with the back of his foot. "You two doing okay?" He followed her into the kitchen to set the sack of goodies on the counter and started unloading the junk food.
Rhys and Emi had been friends since they were in grade school after an unfortunate incident with a bully. Rhys was a self-proclaimed hero when it came to girls and women, though unfortunately he usually ended up looking like an idiot after standing up for a female he didn't even know. At the age of nine, Rhys came to the aid of an eight-year-old Koemi to save her from an eleven-year-old bully who decided to pick on the younger girl. Rhys couldn't stand by and let a girl be upset, so he'd stepped up to demand the bully to stop. For his efforts, he ended up with a bloody nose and a girl who wouldn't stop following him around. Fast forward to twelve years later and they were still friends.
"Alright, so I emptied the cabinets and brought some of everything over for you guys." As he emptied the bag, he listed each item for her. "I've got cookies from Mom, some mint Oreos, a bag of puppy chow, some left over pie...I think it's apple. I've got the rest of the chocolate Poptarts, a few Nerds ropes, and the rest of the ice cream. Plus I've got a mix of candy that I found around the apartment." Between Rhys and his roommate, they were able to put away from food and fortunately for Emi, they had just restocked their supplies. "So take whatever you want, but if you could, leave the Poptarts. I love me some Poptarts." He looked up from the bag and nodded seriously before grinning and picking up the games. "I also brought Monopoly, Battleship, and Candy Land...I'm not entirely sure why I have Candy Land and I'm about 85% sure it's yours."
