"I HAVE been busy," she agreed, going to the candles one by one to blow them out. "I didn't have much else to do since it's been a long weekend. For classes, we're doing a study of anatomy, so I can't really work on my sculpture outside of school without the model posing. A MALE model. A very HOT male model. " Turning her head from the candle on the floor she was blowing out, Violet grinned at him, wanting to see his reaction. "....Only joking. The model is actually a really pretty girl named Jill. She has the CUTEST birthmark on her stomach. It's in the shape of a little heart and I thought it was at first a tattoo, but when I looked more closely, it was all uneven and she said it was a birthmark."
"ANYWAY!" She finished with the candles and kept her gaze on the light from around her bed as she went to it. The creepy crawlies in the darkness could be standing right beside her, but she refused to look and see for sure. Climbing onto her bed, she crawled under the blankets and leaned against Elliot. "It's sweet of you to offer me to paint at Heroes, but I don't think I'll have the time until summer. That would be such a fun project, though! And don't worry, Elliot." Snuggling against him, she leaned up and gave him a quick kiss. "I was only joking earlier. You know as well as I do that you're the cutest guy in Nearside, so I can't dump you for anyone."
Giggling, she tapped his nose gently. "Of course if you were too slow, I might have dumped you for not coming to my rescue in a timely manner. A girl deserves a knight in shining armor, especially when she's in distress. I'm not sure what would have happened if another man came to my rescue...I might have to show him my gratitude, even if he WASN'T cute and then where would we be? No, it's definitely good that you WERE my knight in shining armor, even though I wasn't really in distress." Violet wrapped her arms around Elliot and hugged him, her nose pressed against his chest. "Thank you for coming."
