"Hey now, there is no need to apologize, if I hadn't wanted to come to see you, I wouldn't have. I have that ability. I want to be here with you. Besides, I've spent the entire day with my roommates, I don't mind the change. Shocking as it may seem, I rather enjoy spending my time with you." Elliot told her honestly, offering her a grin in hopes to reassure her that he was really okay with having walked through the snow. "So, you are saying you'd ask any guy out that came running through a blizard for you? Man, I'm glad I offered before some other guy did. I'd hate to be dumped for having a slow reaction time." He teased her with a wink.
As they entered Violet's apartment, Elliot visibly relaxed. The heat of the room was very inviting compared to the freezing temperature outside and he certainly wasn't going to complain about the attention Violet was showering him with. He nodded when Violet mentioned blowing out some of the candles, after all it was the logical thing to do, and began to dig though his bag for the flashlight and extra batteries before laying on her bed and pulling the covers around him a little. It was then that he had begun looking around the apartment, admiring some of Violets work.
"You've been busy today I see," He said looking over some of the newer art that she had on her walls, "You know, when its not snowing insane amounts outside, I bet you could make a bit of extra money doing some freelance work like this in other peoples homes. Or maybe in the shop if you'd like." Leave it to Elliot to some how mention work at least once.
