Elliot attempted to smile at Violet as she pulled open the door, but his face felt frozen and a little numb, so he wasn't entirely sure that it was pulled off appropriately. He placed the bag at his feet for a moment as he and Violet quickly stipped him of his jacket and he kicked off his shoes. He gave a small shutter at the sudden chill that fell upon him when he took of his jacket. He kicked off his shoes before picking his bag back up. "Everything we need is in here." He said with a smile, "Flashlights, batteries and all that sort of stuff."
He turned to Violet and wrapped his arms around her with a grin. He pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I'm fine. It was just a short walk, granted a very cold, cold short walk. But I'm here now. How about you? Are you feeling better?" Elliot was obviously very concerned with her, if he wasn't he probably wouldn't have bothered walking all the way over here. Basically she was lucky that he adored her so much. Though, this really would have been more convenient if she had lived in the same building, or if it hadn't been snowing so hard.
He slipped a cold hand under Violets blanket, linking his fingers with hers. "Why don't you lead the way?" He said with a smile. Leaving the real flashlight in his back pack, Elliot pulled his iPhone out of his pocket and used it to shed a little bit of light on their path.
