Who: Elliot Nash and Violet Pyreal What: Elliot is crossing snow and cold to save Violet from the darkness. Where: Violets Apartment. When: Right after the lights go out Rating: TBA
It was dark in Elliots apartment, but luckily his laptop shined just enough light into the room that he could use it to try and find his jacket, his flashlight and his pack of spare batteries (seriously, Elliot was prepared for just about anything). He emptied out his back pack on his bed, even though the mess hurt a little, and packed all of the things he figured he might need. Flashlight, batteries, laptop with a little less than two hours left on it, a pack of matches he found on the coffee table and an extra blanket in case Violet didn't have enough. He stumbled around his room, putting on several layers on before walking towards the front door. His roommates shot him weird looks, but he figured if he could brave going out in the cold for work, he could certainly do it for Violet, she was his girlfriend after all.
He left moving as quickly as he could, through the empty hallway, down the stairs and out the doors of the lobby, ignoring the people who stared at him as he passed by. It was cold. Very cold. He shifted the bag on his shoulders and pulled his coat tighter around him. The snow was coming down fast and he had to keep telling himself that it was only a short walk to Violets apartment. He stomped through the snow and couldn't help but think how stupid this was, but non-the-less he wanted to do it, if at any rate it would make Violet feel better.
It was kind of odd to be on a street so quiet. It reminded him vaguely in of how some independent horror movie would start and had to resist the urge to check over his shoulder for a Zombie because he was not prepared for that sort of thing at the moment.
Finally, after what seemed like an incredibly long time, Elliot got to the book store and rang the doorbell to Violets Apartment. Sighing a little, he knocked on the door hoping that she would answer quickly.
