River was let off shift early. For whatever reason this Friday night was particularly slow. Rather than waste money keeping her on the clock, she was released for the night. A quick costume change later, hastily performed in the employee bathroom, she was ready to hit the streets. Of course, now that she had a steady job, that phrase had a different meaning. Although she was not dressed all too differently than a working girl, those days of picking up any old john off a street corner were over. This mostly thanks to the miracles of modern technology. That, and the fact that she was not in nearly as hard a monetary pinch. She could pick and choose her lays as she saw fit.
Clocking out, so what if she loitered around the machine for a few extra minutes, she made her way to the door. A wave to the bartender and a flirtatious flash of leg and underwear as she walked by made her feel like the world was her oyster. In point of fact, she felt great enough that when she almost walked into a straggler on his way in, she did not snap at him. Rather, she stepped back to give him a look over. She started at the most important part, wanting to know if he was a lefty or righty, and playing the old game of 'boxers or briefs'. From there, she looked up, eyes skimming over his chest, cataloging his musculature and clothes, before finally reaching his face. Not bad at all, she thought. A slow, wicked grin stretched her mouth. He would do nicely for some night time entertainment.
Her perusal over, she closed the scant distance between the two of them. Running her hand over his shirt as if to smooth it down, she purred out an apology in a tone that was anything but apologetic, "I'm so sorry, didn't see you walk in. Do you need any help?" Her other hand closed over his bicep, feeling out the muscle beneath.
