1. Brooke - It was so tough to find one I liked. 2. "You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one." - John Lennon 3. Clubs: Art Club, Glee Club, Softball 4. Although my presence in the glee club was unsettling to certain members of New Directions, overall, they have given me a warm reception and been very accepting of my differences. New Directions is a club that celebrates differences. What makes us different makes us beautiful. (And yes, the Backstreet Boys did sing that.)
I'm not sure what I'll do next year. Should I stay at McKinley? There is the option of returning to Haverbrook. I heard that glee club may be coming back, thanks to the presence of a new choir teacher who seems to share Mr. Rumba's vision. As long as this one's got zero tolerance for cheating, there may be hope for my friends. But where do I belong? I have a few months to work that out. In the meantime, I'm eternally grateful for the wonderful people that have helped me adjust to attending a hearing school for the first time... especially Artie, who inspired me to join a glee club even though I cannot sing with my voice. No matter what the future holds, I feel no regret when I look back on my time at McKinley. 5. Sue Ellen Francis
