Characters: Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour Date: September 23, 1996 Location: Bill and Fleur's place, Hogsmeade Rating: R Summary: Fleur's curse is over. She wants to make up for lost time. Status: Incomplete
Fleur hadn't really noticed the weakening of her curse over the weekend; she'd kept mostly to herself, so she wouldn't have to deal with the bother of her curse from anyone. Especially Bill. She didn't want to see him cringe again. She didn't think she could stand it.
And she'd faced Monday with dread. But while she hadn't been paying attention, her curse had gone, and when she walked into her first class it was to meet the smiles of all her students. It was a relief close to pain when she realized this, that none of her male students were trying to bolt for the door, and she was probably a little too charming throughout the day in response.
She left after her last class, wanting to get home before Bill, and so skipped the last period which should have been part of her office hours. She didn't think anyone would mind too much.
When she got home she started fixing up the house, much in the same way Bill had done for that failed dinner. Candles and fairy lights and incense. She fixed herself up, did her hair up just the way he liked and wore his favorite robes. She waited impatiently for him to come home, hoping it wouldn't take too long.
