The tiny drow stood with a sigh, finally turning to face her towering companion. "Firbolg or vampire, I trust you." She smiled warmly, a rare sight for the one who had been called both 'cold' and 'stabby elf' on numerous occasions. "Actually, vampires aren't uncommon as allies back where I'm from," she chuckled.
Taking a deep breath, she performed a gesture she had only seen done until now. Her smile widening, she held her arms out, offering her compatriot an embrace, her face flush as she awaited his response. She felt vulnerable in this new position, almost embarrassed. "Just know that you're not in this alone, so you don't have to do everything by yourself. I owe this red bastard a good flaying myself."
Many thoughts raced through her mind as she stood there for what felt like an eternity, but in actuality was only a few moments. Those thoughts and questions would have to wait, as she could tell she had pestered Zainaben enough for one night, possibly a few. Attempting to temper her embarrassment, her words fell from her mouth in a rushed, garbled mess. "A-aanyway.." Her arms descended slightly as she took a hesitant half-step back. "It's good to have you back. You've been missed. I-" She paused a moment, steadying herself with a deep breath. "I've missed you."
