"I know someone that place that where they were keeping him. That asylum. He's a janitor there, and .... I ... I can't tell you how many years, I'm sorry. He tells me things sometimes, about the people that come through there.
Well, this Mr. Luthor was brought there about two weeks after he was arrested. This man said that at first, he was kept in the solitary, no one was supposed to see him. Well, there was this one lady that they let in, but that was it other than his doctors. Said he might hurt someone.
After a month, they started letting him out, and in larger areas, sometimes with other patients, sometimes not. But always guarded. Always with someone watching. And it was like that for a few months and then ....
This janitor was cleaning in a hallway that looks out over the gardens in the afternoon, cleaning the whole thing. Said that Mr. Luthor was down in the garden, reading. And then suddenly he fell over from the bench, and the guards started running. He said that he heard that the guards were saying that Luthor wasn't responding, and they hauled him out of there.
In a few days, he was back and looked just fine. But then after two weeks, he heard another doctor saying that he'd collapsed again, and was in a bunch of pain. And then suddenly Mr. Luthor was back in that solitary again, but for different reasons.
This janitor told me that three different doctors from overseas were brought in to the asylum to look at him. And he kept hearing the asylums doctors talking to each other about how he was in a lot of pain, and woke up one night screaming. The doctors from overseas stayed and a bunch of equipment was brought in. I guess it helped because he stopped collapsing and screaming.
Then suddenly, he was being cleared to leave, boom just like that! And everyone was told to keep their mouths shut about it to the press, or else.
I just thought ... someone ought to know."
