Meet Chang'e, the girl who really effed up twice. Got punted out of the Jade Emperor's palace, married well and then effed that marriage up by hiding something she shouldn't have had in her mouth. And swallowing it. Never made it back to Heaven. I went with the 'punished' vibe considering a couple other versions basically made her seem heroic for going behind her husband's back. Which, from what I understand, isn't very Chinese.

Oh, hey, first Chinese character. :D Anyway, current history: born in San Francisco, moved to Chicago at seven then to New York at eighteen. She's has had a number of boyfriends, kind of drove them all batty. Is a singer, model and actress. Knows herself. And she doesn't mean to be mean but bunnies are so not cute anymore. Or frogs. Can't stand 'em.

Definitely needs pals, rivals, etc. She's fairly social and all that. Unless someone's pushing her, she'll be sweet even if a bit rash and clumsy. Will be the sort who gets distracted by her own image. sdfkj God, I'm tired so I hope all this made sense. ♥

So this is Thor, or James Gray, older brother to our lovely Helen. He was born in LA, and has spent the whole of his life there until very very recently. He's a twin, and he's got protective issues with his family, aka he loves his family too much. Thor's... well, he's not the brightest crayon in the box, but he's loyal and loving. He's also loud, violent, and has like zero sense of humor. He'll be working in construction~

Darlings, I have with me the first of possibly a couple, if I can get off my lazy ass and finish them. This is Eos, Greek goddess of the dawn. Why are you playing another Greek, you ask? BECAUSE I CAN OKAY.

She's Jessica Anne Hoyt in this life (no, I didn't get inspired by True Blood, shh), she's only lived in NYC for about twoish years, and she has an almost two-year-old named Jayden, who lives with her. Her personality in a few words is: flirty, sweet, obsessive, and shallow. But she loves her family, ALL ZILLION OF THEM. ♥ She's aware of herself as Eos and has been for a time, but she's terrified of meeting Aphrodite, who essentially ruined her just because she climbed into Ares' bed, gosh. And she's a huge mama bear with her kiddo, who totally drives away the cute boys, but that's what wearing sunglasses and hiding is for, right? Right?

Slightly belated but this is your official post to say that Zurvan has finally ended. See here for many details but in short:

→ The living will wake where they want in NYC.
→ They will remember all as they have since the 20th.
→ The deceased will return any time during this month, that is up to the player.
→ A strange mix of Zurvan and the real world has occurred.
→ Of course, no more use of the !zurvan tag. Just remember to keep tagging posts with your character!

Hey dearlings!

With the end of Zurvan upon us (the 31st, 11:59 PM EST), we thought we'd announce some things related to the end as well as next month and about the game overall. This will not be cut as we want to be sure no one misses it.

So let's tackle how Zurvan will be handled once people are back in NYC first:

ZURVAN END

→ People will all have their full memories of the place. As noted before, those not revealed purposefully or just unaware of themselves will be remembered by their mortal names. This should be a lot more simple than erasing memories or causing a blur. They can also wake up in NYC wherever they please. Whether in the beds of their (former) spouses or in stranger places.

→ We also thought to offer an option of what are calling transfer. It's the player's choice to take something back from Zurvan, like Pheme returning with her uncle's dog tags or Fuujin returning with his kimonos. This applies to the children or other family as well. How this might work depends on the players and we'll try to explain this as best we can:

• Siblings and children that are taken back with the godlings could be same relations as they were in Zurvan or find themselves in the position of being close relations somehow. Keep in mind that if there is more than one player involved that all players involved should agree on this. For example: Bastet who is mother to Amina as we understand, could return to be a single mother in NYC to her daughter (whose age could be fixed to suit the NYC life) or an elder sister to a younger sister named Amina. That player would have to modify things as she sees fit.
• Pregnancies, the few that we have, can also be transferred over. Keep in mind that if there is more than one player involved that both players involved should agree on this. However, the length of the pregnancy can shirt from eight months to two months if that suits someone. For example: Pasithea, who we understand to be rather hugely pregnant right now, could return with Hypnos' child while only at three weeks along. Or she could be minutes from giving birth. That player can modify it as she sees fit.

Overall, this is to show that the Zurvan world, while cruel and disruptive, has started to tangle itself in reality. Histories are being modified in the real world and these new beings or to-be new beings are involved as if they always had been there. It's getting chaotic, if you will. No one is under any pressure to do any of this. We simply thought it would be a fun option to jumble up some lives and introduce more elements of chaos.

→ Other chaotic elements will include:

• The sudden inclusion of places and names from both Zurvans in the real world. This is up to the players and depends on the roles they had in both Zurvans. For example: Galahad, who has always had a family business and was Czar of Iriy, would be head of Iriy Corporation in NYC. Heimdall, who had been king of Glastheim, might find his practice is named after that location and so forth. Percival, who had been part of the Niflheimian army, could be part of an organization against the Iriy Corporation.

• Some characters may even find that what they had been good at in Zurvan (aka that particular skill set) has taken over whatever they were good at in NYC. For example: Polyxena was a war nurse in Zurvan and a psychiatrist in NYC. However, she now remembers more about being a nurse than a psychiatrist. Or she may remember both. She can also not be affected at all by this. In the end, just be realistic and reasonable with their skill. Don't overdo it and remember no one is flawless.

→ The dead returning will be a gradual thing. We leave it up the players to decide when they want to bring back their deceased characters this month but all deceased characters should be back by 11:59 PM EST on September 30th. They will all have their own burdens from death to deal with, depending on who they are and what happened to them.

NEXT MONTH

Now, in relation to September, we are offering all players up to five slots without needing to asking for them. Everyone gets them regardless of how many characters you have. No hassle, no fuss, just go for it. Please remember, however, that we still expect applications to be held up to our usual standard.

This gorgeous guideline should be considered if find yourself unsure of what we mean. In short, though, we expect characters presented to us to have reasonable weaknesses that are not redeemed or can be brushed off. The personality should be well-balanced without being a mess or lack flow for sake of comprehension. We like to see characters be able to connect with their myths and be well-woven to reflect a reincarnate that could be a modern-day version of that myth character in a sense. The biggest thing is that we are a myth game and should never be mistaken for an OC game.

ABOUT THE GAME

Lastly, pleased be assured that we have NOT set an ending date yet. The December suggestion was strictly that - a suggestion. This especially if people feel that they still have much they can do in this game and wish to explore more characters. As you all know we aim to give you all the best we can and nothing will ever be set in stone unless we see a reason to do so or everyone feels satisfied.

We definitely want to make this ending experience different and give people something to deal with once they are back in NYC. Also, please feel free to use this post as a plot post for all that has been discussed above!

AWAKE IN ZURVAN II

As of this moment, characters will begin to remember themselves. For some, it may take a full day or two (maximum being three!). Others it might be more instantly, within minutes. It's now up to them how they want to handle the crazy as well as wonder why this happened when Khaos isn't even around. To deal with the strange relationships and the power they hold - or do not hold.

Remember, whatever state they would have remembered themselves in NYC they will remember themselves now. That means this:

→ Euterpe was aware of true self in NYC as were others around her and that is how she will remember her identity in Zurvan. People around her will comfortably call her Euterpe still. Uncomplicated and very straight-forward.
→ Demeter was not aware of true self in NYC and she would not remember her identity in Zurvan but think of herself as 'Brie' still. People in Zurvan will remember her as Brie when it comes to all events that have happened in this false world. As if calling her Demeter did not happen. Call it a 'memory edit'.
→ Asmodeus was aware of his true self but hadn't revealed this to anyone. While he will remember himself in Zurvan, people around him will only recall him as they know him (Tarek).

This is the major thing: any recall will be as your character knows someone. (Sigyn as Aubrey, Naamah as Chiara, Famine as Famine, Pheme as Pheme, etc). If that doesn't make sense, please feel free to ask. Any questions can be aimed at mod thread here.

There may be a couple of moments here and there where I might just slink off because of my head but I am back now. ♥ So, considering the mod posts that have been fluttering around while I was away, lemme jump on how to tackle whatever comes to mind that needs to happen or be plotted out before the GREAT REVEAL~

→ Troilus will die this week before he recalls himself. Iriy and Niflheim, please poke me about upcoming battles or if I can just do this whenever I want. If any Niflheimian soldier wants to do it, tell me.
→ Death's twin should have already left his position sometime last week and has returned to Iriy in a very ill way. Probably will die before the month is out.
→ Death is aware how knocked up she is, must be handled somehow. Angie, PLEASE SEE THIS SOMEHOW, MOST MAGICALLY, ETC.
→ Persephone and Rosier have stuff to do soon. They are fierce~ (this is being plotted out)
→ Menelaus and Demeter have to...IDK, KAITLIN, ANGIE, JILL, HALP.
→ Thanatos is counting down the days when his cousin will be his son-in-law. I'm sure he's been eyeballing EVERYONE, just because.
→ Ryujin still isn't talking about Sigyn if he can help it though not denying her existence or that of Heimdall's. He personally has no interest in dealing with her betrayal as she's gone now. Definitely molesting Fuujins and finding a replacement for his Admiral. As far as he is concerned, life is back to whatever normal can be now.
→ Theseus has probably been veeeery doting to his family while waiting for news about his wife. X(
→ Somewhat randomly, Jubokko has a mild fever much to his horror. It's awful. Hyacinth would know and he would have told his sister, mostly to guilt her.
→ Lilith is still in Camelot, I think. JIC.

→ As Camelot knows about what Niflheim is doing and Samyaza and Pheme are printing stuff, news probably has leaked about the order by Daphne. So on part of my Niflheimians who are at war:
  ¤ Freyja knows this is part of war but she disagrees with the involvement of innocents. For the time, she is treating soldiers wounded by Iriyians but she would probably make any Niflheimian soldier she knows that killed an innocent suffer discreetly.
  ¤ Elaine is shocked and stressed. :| She's not written to anyone about this outside of Morgan and their regal cousin. She doesn't know what to say to Agravaine just yet and is trying to keep news of it from her children. Probably has been questioned or even sneered at by non-military individuals (though as more than likely swung her purse at them and called them all 'ignorant ninnies').
  ¤ Morgause says they were in the way but Niflheim must go forth. FTR, if and when she hears/heard about her niece get thrown over, Galahad and Medb would have heard or will hear from her.
  ¤ Jubokko does not care as he knows his sister is safe in the capital.
  ¤ Cù Sìth is injured and imprisoned in Niflheim but is totally thinking of his sister and niece-creature. And proud of himself. I don't know if anyone would tell him about the Camelot articles, though.

Updates will happen when needed. I'm totally available for any logging, minis, etc. Since there will be a plot post for the stuff during/after this coming weekend, I'll save that for then. ♥

Hey kittycats. ♥ Just dropping in to make a little announcement: because I'd rather move forward rather than backward so I can write about Heimdall, Igraine made a public announcement to all Camelotians on the 4th. It was probably long and terribly diplomatic. She spoke about the following:

→ Camelot's stance in the war (we are neutral and play no part)
→ How the borders have been invaded (no mention of violence, however)
→ That Niflheim would seek to harm anyone they came across, but that Iriy is also at fault, and so all towns close to the border are to be evacuated to cities closer to the capital
→ That a Niflhemian soldier risked his life to protect Camelot
→ That Camelot will not allow people to walk all over them, and will defend itself

etc etc. Basically, don't fuck with us. We are strong, we will not be trampled on.

Presumably Camelotian soldiers have been sent out to the border by now? I LOOKED AT THE TIMELINE. Shi, if you'd like, so we don't have to stretch out a log that won't get finished for another few days, we can discuss what they spoke about here? More or less her stance was: we can't allow help from another region, we are our own power and we'll protect ourselves.

Hey guys!

We have been thinking some things over since our last two mod posts and have decided that due to the disruptions of August, we will break open everyone's memories of their true selves on the 19th, 11:59 PM EST. Whatever state your character knew themselves in NYC they will remember now. There will be a plot post for this as well.

Zurvan is still set to end at the end of the month and there will be an end post for that about the consequences and so forth. Any current game plots are more than free to be continue or push forward as you see fit.

This post will have screened comments in case many of you feel this isn't the way you want things to go just yet. We will definitely hear you all out on this and we encourage you to please work with us to see this unfortunate pause through.

This is our third update post for Zurvan. We apologize for the delay and hope this helps anyone needing a quick update on things.

This has been happening since the last post on July 17th:

→ A body mutilated by Death and Famine was found on the 17th of July. It was the body of a Ryugunese woman, suspected to be Sigyn. Though this was quickly proven wrong, the body was still to be brought back to Ryugu-jo by Morpheus.
→ Morpheus, on his way to get the body, stops by to see Merlin who had been injured by a mysterious assailant (Jubokko). They are somewhat caught by Pheme, who is swift in spreading the rumors.
→ Merlin makes an announcement that put Igraine in his place.
→ Mordred took a trip to Iriy for pleasure reasons though this will later turn into true diplomatic reasons.
→ Fighting in Babylon between Niflheim and Iriy spill into Camelot when Niflheim invades first on the 20th and Iriy is forced to follow on the 21st.
→ Marshal Daphne issues an order of indiscriminate killing of Camelotians on the 25th if they spot Niflheimian soldiers. This does not settle with Cù Sìth who disobeys on the 29th and is brought in the next day to be punished and shipped back to Niflheim. The family he saved, however, carried with them a letter from him to be given to his family as well as the government. Pheme makes an important post on the 31st followed by a vital post by Mordred in reaction to a post by Samyaza.
→ In the meantime, the Sultan of Babylon is murdered on the 31st, pushing Anubis into the Sultan's place.
→ Hearing of what the Iriyian troops have done with invading Camelot, Lilith is sent to Camelot to sort matters, arriving the 1st of August. The conclusion of this is to be sorted.
→ Lastly, Sigyn and Heimdall have been tried and executed. This has been confirmed by the parties available and occurred early this week.
→ Shi would like to note that "Ryujin will have made it clear to all Ryugunese that this story will be told in truth, not in a romantic way. That it will be told this tale to serve as a warning, in particular to the royal household so they know that they cannot act selfishly and were born to serve the people, not themselves. That is the price of nobility, he would say. For the people, death is not the punishment for a relationship with a foreigner but it's, as before, strictly frowned upon and unfavourable because it appears to weaken the bloodlines. He will also continue to not use Sigyn or Heimdall's names but, for the purpose of the warning to carry forward, will not forbid the use of those names. The remains of Heimdall will be returned to Camelot in a simple but appropriate wooden box. There would be marks on him to show that he had been restrained (around his wrists and ankles) and then killed with a single, clean slice through his neck. Sigyn will be left at the bottom of the lake she was drowned in. It was not an open execution for the public but reporters from reputable papers would have been allowed to witness and write about it. High ranks, the emperor and his family (plus concubine) would have been there."
→ The funeral for the Sultan was had. Anubis wrote to the other regions about the change in leadership, with warnings to Iriy and Niflheim about their soldiers. Ryujin and Anubis will have exchanged messages about where they still stand.

We think we have covered everything that has been put into action and decided on but please notify us if we missed a major plot matter! Anything to do with regions' problems should be listed here for people to follow along and understand. If you have any doubts on what your character would or would not know, feel free to ask. As always, neutrals are welcome to come and aggravate situations wherever they want. Please also think of these posts as plot posts if that helps. Hey lovelies.

We know that the game has come to a sudden halt due to personal matters as well as vacations. Your mods have been struggling with both those matters as well. We also know that many of you have been uneasy with how this Zurvan was handled and for that we apologize. We are hoping when it comes to NYC, that things will resume to their normal level. We acknowledge that the past couple of months did not go as planned but hope that the continuation of the normal game plot as well as any effects from Zurvan will help in what is to come.

July and August will not be held against anyone when it comes to reserves and slots in September. As stated before, no AC is expected for this month. If you are around, please continue as much as you can with plot and so forth, especially when people return. We will try to get an update post up soon.

Last but not least, as you all know mythopoeics is a game with an overarching plot. We mods have been discussing this and have been considering December 2012 as the ending date for the game. This is to tie in with the whole 2012 themes and to go out with a nice bang. Although this isn't set, we wanted to let you guys know this in advance so things can be tied up nicely with the final plot. Though this will be the end for mythopoeics, we will likely be opening up a second musebox to serve as a freeplay sandbox if you have any desire to play out events post the closure of the game.

Because I've been...not doing what I'm supposed to do.

1. There was a funeral for the Sultan. Feel free to decide if your character came and what might have happened with them. Anubis didn't keep the people from coming because the Sultan was their leader and even if he didn't really want to deal with all those people, he didn't want to deprive them of it.

2. Anubis would have written to the leaders of the other regions about the change in leadership. In terms of Camelot, feel free to know about this Merlin and Igraine. I'm jello with this. He'd have probably talked with Iriy and Niflheim, making a point to reinforce the fact that their soldiers were not to break into Babylon. Of course, that would have been not listened to. Not really surprising, no? Set would have been given the go ahead to kill anyone that broke that rule. I think he had that go ahead before, but Anubis would have kept with it.

3. The NPC that killed the Sultan was questioned (and probably tortured) until she spoke. She was found guilty for the crime of killing the Sultan. Anubis is...probably deciding on her punishment. Val and Cara, if Osiris or Set have any input for this, feel free to give it.

4. The talks with Tecc. Have those happened? Should we assume that shit's been thrown to the wind and all talks are fucked or...do you guys want to put up a log about that. PLEASE RESPOND!

That noted, we should probably plot how this stuff (articles, IC discussions and handling) will go down since time is an issue with this particular matter (in relation to the articles Samyaza wants done). A lot is going on but let's try to stay on top of it and tackle details best we can. All characters who have something to do with this should respond here, please.

Sleeping shortly but I figured this plot post was needed. And just to push things along, I'll be quick about giving a summary of Lilith's intentions. Nothing is in stone, I'm just hoping to save some time by laying out the intent.

Lilith left Iriy early on the 31st of July, will enter the capital of Camelot by the 1st of August. She will expect to see the queen pretty damn quickly about the Iriyian issues. Considering the woman is now a NPC, this is an area to be discussed.

But no matter who she meets, she will not be in a pleasant mood for games or otherwise. She will press that Iriyians do NOT want to be in Camelot, they have no interest in Camelot and that she is all for the exit of their troops out but that would not make an ounce of difference if they left considering the powerful Niflheimians that will still be in Camelot.

As noted in the post linked, Lilith would want a joint effect to remove the Niflheimian threat. It's not as if Camelot can do it alone, she would say, as Niflheim are advanced. But Camelotians know their land best and the Iriyians want out of Camelot but do not want to leave the murderous Niflheimians to involve Camelot more. Joining forces is advantageous and nothing else.

Depending on when the news of what Niflheim is doing is spread, she will even use that as an example as to why Camelot should, for their own good, help Iriy push Niflheim back (and later be punished for their war crimes). But as of right now, only the Niflheimian army, Cù Sìth and his family plus the Camelotian government know about those details.

OK, GO GO PLOTTING AND LET US SORT THIS MATTER.

Alright, kiddos. I know. I know...OOC post eleventy million! It's all to keep you informed!

In the next week, an NPC Babylonian who is fed up with the way that things are going is going to sneak into the palace disguised as a servant. Unfortunately for our dear NPC!Sultan, he's going to get pushed out a window and fall to his death. Anubis, as the prince, will be asked to step up and take on leadership of Babylon. From there, he will contact those in power as a sort of "Hello, I'm the new Sultan and blah blah blah."

He'll be checking in on things and probably make things a lot tighter around the palace because...he can't have all this nonsense of getting thrown out windows. ANYWAY...The NPC will get caught and brought in for proper punishment and well, admittedly, they will probably be killed. It's kind of what happens when you kill the Sultan. :| No mercy and all that.

I'm toying with the idea of underground tunnels/hideouts being built/already being...real. Somewhere where a few people who want to gtfo and not die can go and hide...but also for the soldiers to use for sneaking and...shooting bitches...from underground. ANYWAY. This could be my insanity talking...but...yes.

Niflheim soldiers, do you remember this?

Cù Sìth is going to get involved in something that is going to not go well for him. Disapproving of this 'kill ANYONE that saw you' order, he will come across a young Camelotian pregnant mother and immediately be conflicted. Rather than follow his Marshal's command, he will guide the woman and her child to a safe point to escape from the army's invasion and intentions.

And someone will see this. They will tell Daphne and Cù Sìth will suffer appropriate consequences (a thrashing and being sent back to Niflheim to await a military trial). However, Niflheim will have this brutal plan revealed as Cù Sìth isn't stupid enough to just bury himself. He will have given the young mother the name of his sister as well as the order given by Marshal Daphne to be reported. His people are Camelotians and though he has been loyal to adopted region of Niflheim up until now, he doesn't want senseless violence against his people.

Naturally, his intentions are to get this news in the open AKA the press. Pheme, bb, you've got a major story ahead of you. He'll be sending her a letting via that young mum explaining the order, who gave it, to get away from the borders and what he's done. It may not save him at all (in fact, it likely won't) but he still plans on shouting clear and loud about what's going on.

So if someone wants to be that person who saw him and told Daphne, go ahead and say something here! Otherwise, it will be a NPC. And if anyone else wants to be involved, also squeak! Let's plot out stuff here. These are some tentative dates (please say something if they don't work for you in some way!):

→ The allowed release of the mother will happen this Sunday (a mini will occur).
→ The exposing of what Cù Sìth did will happen Monday.
→ The young mum will reach Camelot's capital by Tuesday.

Hey guys!

So we have been talking and we have noticed that a lot of things have been going on to slow down things with the plot or overall gameplay. Taking that into consideration, we are excusing the AC for July and August. This does not mean that we expect people to stop playing, however. This means that those on necessary hiatus can relax and those in-game don't need to feel pressured in scrambling for posts and comments when things are so slow. But we do expect our players to do their best to keep up with plots and plot posts, please.

And we want to thank everyone hanging in there with us and everything. We know we have had a couple of rough months but we are going to seriously try to work this out. And if there is ever something you need to come to us about, please do (by email or our modbox. We want to try to do what we can for our players.

Childrens, war has begunnnn -- almost. As several characters have declared, Iriy and Niflheim will be fighting on Babylonian soil as agreed, on an uninhabited route. Babylonian soldiers have been stationed along it to ensure nothing goes out of hand. Not sure if they have left or are still stationed in the warzone -- pls confirm Cara? D:

The facts are as follows:

→ Niflheimian troops left on the 20th and arrived in Babylon before Iriy
→ Iriyian troops left on the 21st
→ War has not actually begun yet! But both armies have set up in trenches, readied their med bays, set up their artillery and tanks and cannons and whatnot.
→ Camelot, you're going to be seeing some soldiers here and there. Soldiers in neutral territory? Oh my~
→ Galahad and Medb remain in their respective regions. High ranks, I'm gonna post up a thread so you can inform the rest of us who of you is going or staying! I'll be posting another thread for soldiers/army personnel who will be among the troops. Please feel free to list where they are stationed, be it front lines, reserves, etc.

So the issue is as follows: realistically, the war will not be able to be contained. Iriy has plans to draw Niflheim back and attack until they cut off their supply line. The war will spread and possibly cross over into Camelotian territory as each army tries to cut the other off.

If any of you guys have suggestions for the flow of the battles, please suggest something! The war will probably last for a good while, so anything should be kosher. ♥

DARLINGS. Because I'm currently rolling over a batch of KStew icons, I have an offer -- if any of you need some icons of a certain PB, I'd be happy to make you some! There are def no clues incriminating Jubba Jubba! but mostly this assassination claim is to tense things up in Camelot and stir trouble. Samyaza and Pheme are welcome to stir up speculations and newspapers and all.

♘♘ Igraine is now the de-facto chancellor for Camelot.

♘♘On this same note, Morpheus will also be making an appearance, presumably after he goes to Iriy to identify a body- so on the way back? ZERO LET ME KNOW. Morpheus should be currently in Camelot! Pheme all the rumors are yours~

♘♘ Mordred is going to travel to Iriy on a 'diplomatic mission' to chillax with Galahad. Niflheim and others are free to speculate if this means Camelot has something planned. :3

♘♘♘ Fighting is going to start in the border between Babylon/Camelot since that is where Set designated the Iriy/Nifl fighting to take place. HOWEVER, it is likely to end up spilling all over the place.

Guys, it's Joana. I wanted to explain what's going on and expand a little on my disappearance act. I'm currently in a new job and part of a science group which is barely starting. This means it's just a colleague and I with a lot of work to be done for yesterday. She went on vacations last week and shall be so until August. Which leaves me trying to finish up stuff before my own vacations. It's been complicated and doesn't leave me much time or will to play.

I'm sorry. I know Zurvan deserves much more plotting and work than what I've been able to give it and that's not far for any of you. But I'm really stuck until more or less the 17th of August.

Babies~ Jill and I have a couple of plots to run by you guys for the sake of dramarz, because emails get lost and people don't like spam so~ HERE, HAVE AT.

✗ We've decided that, Pasithea's baby? Is not actually Pollux's. Baby is in fact Hypnos'! They would have had a brief fling months ago, resulting in the bebbeh, but Hypnos is still unaware that it's his. Would one of his siblings like to have been confided in by Pasithea about it, and have that secret to keep away from Hypnos for the sake of her marriage?

✗ Then~ Hyacinth is coming to Camelot on the weekend. He will meet with Raven and Hebe. Things will be talked about. Eventually, possibly around Monday or so, they're going to decide to run away to Niflheim to stay with Hyacinth. SORRY MOM AND DAD. .. she's taking the cat, too. :| Basically, this is a warning that Demeter and Menelaus will have to react to NO BB GIRL sometime very soon. She'll leave a letter of apology of course.

✗ Whenever Echo decides it, Pan is going to take her to Babylon so she can see Anubis. Which is all well and good for her, but he's the one who took Syrinx SO. I give permission for Euterpe to recognize him and point him out to her family, if Apollo would like to get involved? idk what sort of things he'd really do to Pan, but seeing as he was seen with Syrinx, someone can have the chance to question him. SO APOLLO. DO YOU WANT A PAN?

ATTENTION BABYLONIANS. As of the morning of the 17th, an article in the local newspapers detailed the finding of the body of a horribly disfigured woman, but there were no actual details about her injuries (which are extensive, let me tell you). She was found somewhere along the border of Babylon and Iriy. Her identity remains unknown.

Feel free to react to this! As a side note, Naamah will be spreading some rumors in the market, the bars, etc. saying that it's the body of Sigyn. It isn't actually, obviously, but who needs to know that? News will probably reach Ryugu-Jo in some days, though if any officials pick up on the rumors, pls go ahead and spill the beans.

This is as mandatory as the HMD (which means it's not). This is just to discuss and flesh out your characters or any plot plans you have. Maybe to get some help with those difficult characters that need to get involved more.

This is our second update post for Zurvan. We know that some plots are still being handled and some are in the process of being discussed so this is more of a what's happened and happening post. We apologize for the delay on this as we wanted to let the peace talk matters get sorted.

This has been happening since the last post on June 23rd:

→ Discontentment was everywhere, from Babylon worrying about what Iriy and Niflheim would do to Ryugu-jo's problems with their runaways to Camelot worrying about what to do about the peace in the world.
→ Gwynevere comes to a decision and contacts Ryujin. The two arrive a peaceful agreement, one that results in the handing of Heimdall to be handled in Ryugu-jo.
→ Morpheus is allowed to stay in Camelot to handle the search operations.
→ Osiris is still in Niflheim.
→ After rumours of a sighting, Ryujin contacts the Babylonian Sultan to gain his permission to enter his country. They arrive an agreement as well, limiting the number of Ryugunese men as well as aid from the Babylonians themselves.
→ Hades is sent to Babylon to handle the search.
→ Heimdall and Sigyn take on disguises.
→ A post by the Ryugunese Emperor for all the public to see, made up of explanation and warnings.
→ The plan for holding peace talks is set into motion.
→ A royal kimono falls into the hands of the Babylonian ambassador's sister.
→ Pheme hears of scandalous news involving a sighting of Heimdall in Camelot and immediately tells Merlin and Samyaza. It hits the papers the very next day.
→ News of this reaches the Emperor's ears just as he is getting ready to leave. He reaches out to both the Queen and his Admiral to handle the situation. Things are calmed and Hades remains in Babylon.
→ Peace talks go forth.
→ By the end of the peace talks, it seems Iriy and Niflheim will go ahead with the war.

We think we have covered everything but please notify us if we missed a major plot matter! Anything to do with regions' problems should be listed here for people to follow along and understand. If you have any doubts on what your character would or would not know, feel free to ask.

As always, neutrals are welcome to come and aggravate situations wherever they want. Please also think of these posts as plot posts if that helps. If you have something you want to do and want others to participate, comment!

All administrative decisions, he gives Set full reign.

All administrative decisions, Medb gives Tenjin full reign.
IRIY:
With military decisions Hera might not be around for, she gives Athena full reign.
RYUGU-JO:
With military decisions Hades might not be around for, he gives Hippolytus full reign.

I know you all missed me SUPER LOTS while I was gone...but now I'm back (mostly...I still have to get my mom to take me home...but...I'm back in the correct state again and 30 min. drive from home) and ready for all the amazing plotting awesomeness. I have some things to catch up on (ANGIE WE HAVE THINGS TO DO!) but that won't take toooo long, I don't think. ♥

So I'd been having issues with Calliope lately, which means I will be dropping her. However~ she will be replaced by Thalia (lollerskate), if you guys from LJ remember her. Because I didn't want to cause any confusion or invade another family, her Zurvan CR will remain the same as Cal's -- married to Kokabiel, two sisters, cousin to Syrinx etc.

Quick things about her: she's Norma Grace Jarrett in this life, lives with Euterpe, and is going to grad school at NYU for Dramatic Literature. She's originally from Detroit, but because of her step-mommy she had to move to the UK, where she attending boarding school with the cool kids. Her ability is a contagious laugh. Oh, and she's cute BECAUSE I SAY SO.

As some of you know I've been down with a bronchitis - so I apologize thoroughly for my absence, especially during the peace talks. :| I'm not fully 100% but I'm much better (thanks Val for posting on the hiatus thing ;_____; bb what would I do without you).

Soooo...this is rather impromptu and was not actually planned. My bestie invited me to go with her to the beach for four days...and this normally would have been passed up...except that if I don't go now, I won't get to go at all for the rest of the summer because my parents aren't going to the beach this year since Jacob's grant-a-wish is this year in Australia. I also don't get to go to this. I'm not under 18...so I don't get to have any fun anymore.

SO! I'll be at the beach for like...four days. We're going to creeper and lurk in the McDonalds for some wifi so I SWURR I will keep up with what tags and stuff I owe. :| If I miss something poke me. Please don't cry too much. It doesn't mean I love you any less. I'll still be around tonight, so it will be O.K. I promise.

HI FRIENDS. An announcement: I've rebooted Pan because his voice was getting iffy, but he's come back a brand new bb. Instead of being Gavin Blackwell, he's now Hunter Matthews, little brother to Odr and Selene back in NYC. Goodbye Blackwells, it was fun. ;;;

Things that have changed: his PB (isn't he so prettyyy), his background (grew up in a musical family, moved around a lot, went to NYU for school and is now in grad school), his name obviously.

Self-explanatory--your characters can sign up under the appropriate threads to express their interest in joining the organizing committee (Camelot) or the regional delegation (everywhere else, if the respective region leaders are cool with taking on volunteers). Responses/confirmations/etc should be handled by the region leader or whoever the region leader has delegated to man the delegation/committee.

For your reference--
Babylon Horus has tasked Osiris with leading a delegation. Isis is free to accompany? He is chill with volunteers if Osiris is.
Camelot Gwynevere has tasked Tecciztecatl with overseeing and organizing the event. She is chill with volunteers if Tecc is.
Iriy I thiiink Galahad and Athena are leading their region's delegation while Hera mans the fort?
Niflheim I thiiiink Medb is coming to lead her own delegation?
Ryugu-jo Ryujin is leading his delegation!

Dignitaries of rank will be housed at Camelot's castle, and others at Barachiel's. Kindly leave your armies at the door, though security retinues will not be turned away.

Ok, folks, I figure this is needed since we might be not QUITE sure where we are at with some stuff. So this post will serve for two possible plots:

→ CAMELOT SCANDAL
So Pheme discovered something fabulous to print and Samyaza was all 'LET'S DO IT' in hopes of getting this printed on the fifth of July. But, of course, it would be under a false name to definitely protect Pheme. The point of this post is to discuss what the article said (Jill, if you actually want to scribble up the article or just summarize it here, go for it!) and this will help with reactions on journals and stuff.

→ BABYLONIAN OPIUM FAMILY
Although it will initially have to do with the four siblings, it doesn't hurt to keep the plotting in public. Right now, Persephone and Rosier had been plotting against someone they dislike but this doesn't have to be THE plot they run with. Let's air some ideas and all?

I'm going to be sleeping in a bit because I am exhaaaausted but hopefully this will help with organization with some stuff. Please remember this post as well as any IC posts that push the plot, guys! ♥

Hello bbs! I'm sorry for disappearing off the face of the earth but I was hit with very unexpected and very big rl news and I have been so unbelievably busy and overall drained emotionally. So because their luck is so bad and who doesn't love reliving the past; someone should totally eventualyl catch Dite and Ares together and blab to Athena and call Dite out publicly for the dramz? And Gabe will be... doing his naval captain thing/trolling family. The usual. If there's anything I should know that I might miss or my characters should be involved with please drop me a little note or something but I'll try my best to read all the updates etc! Region rulers, please assume that you received invitations by this time! Basically the invitation talked about hosting a peace summit in neutral Camelotian territory, etc, and asked that region leaders consider attending or sending delegations.

July 2 - 9

Time for region leaders to be figure out whether they'll be attending or not, sending delegations or not, who will comprise their delegations, etc. I'll throw up an OOC sign-ups post shortly.

July 10 - 15

Peace talks proper. This will be accompanied OOCly by a discussion post where regions can put up their stands and players can tangent off into open forums, followed by a conclusions post where I can throw up the results of said discussion. (ergo, statements like "Iriy and Niflheim still want to go to war" or "Iriy and Niflheim have decided on peaceful arrangements"; "Ryugu-jo has chosen to get involved on Niflheim's side"; "Camelot does this and that"; "Babylon chose not to attend", etc)

In light of recent events and the looming threat of all-out warfare, Camelot hopes to maintain its position as the upholders of peace and order by inviting regional delegations to a set of peace talks. These will likely be hosted near the Camelotian border. Armistice will be guaranteed while in the area, though security will be high to protect all the dignitaries and delegates who will participate.

DELEGATED OVERSEERS; Gwynevere would like to assign Tecciztecatl, as he is the ambassador, as well as Igraine to assist, if she would be amenable.

As you all know Zurvan is a time of proactive and plotting among yourselves, this is why we'd like you all to use the OOC for plots that are not one-on-one. This is for everyone's benefit so people can react, jump in, or what not.
